Data Domain Introduces New Entry Level Appliance

Data Domain has expanded its range with the introduction of the DD120 appliance, this entry level product will see deduplication technology become more widely available to smaller environments than previously. Deduplication eliminates redundant data which significantly shrinks storage requirements and improves bandwidth efficiency. Storage costs are lower since fewer disks are needed, and backup/recovery are shorter times since there can be far less data to transfer. For more information on Deduplication click here.
